The invention and creation of new treatments techniques and medicine have been made possible by animal research. It is to make sure that medicines being discovered are safe for human consumption. For examples, the vaccine for smallpox was developed by use of cows. Animals have rights too and based on the rights it still does not make it right and acceptable to use them in research experiments. It makes it almost impossible not to use animals in the experiments in the medicine world. In the case of new viruses mice are usually used by researchers to test and come up with medicine that later is used to save lives of those who suffer from that virus. In other situations where scientist are forced to work in unfavorable areas to humans, animal are used as pioneers to save human lives so as to continue with their discovery.
